Julio Jimenez
Julio was born and raised in a humble Christian family in Peru, South America. At age 13, he received Jesus Christ as his personal savior. It was a wonderful experience that not only changed his life but also gave it a purpose.
At age 18, he left his family and moved to Trujillo, Peru where after 10 years, he finished Medical School. In 1994 in a miraculous way, he was able to come to the US and with God’s help, finished his residency in Family Medicine at the Providence FMR program, here in Seattle in 2000. Since 2000, he has been working as a Family Physician for Sea Mar CHC. He also trains family medicine residents and medical students of Swedish MC and the University of Washington as associate clinical professor of the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Since very early, Julio felt the call to serve my God and Savior in the ministry of preaching and teaching His Word. This has been the passion that has moved and guided his life.
In February of 2012, Julio joined EBC as the pastor for the Spanish Ministry. Since then, he has seen our Lord working in many ways in the lives of many. God has blessed Julio with Liana, who is not only a beloved wife but also his faithful fellow worker in the ministry. Their sons, Andree, Alex, and Carlos are a tremendous help by using their talents and gifts to serve along with us in the ministry.
